Jakarta, INTI - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), through its subsidiary, PT Telkom Data Ekosistem (NeutraDC), has established a strategic partnership with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. (Huawei) with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding Strategic Activities for Digital Telco. The MoU was signed at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona on March 3, 2026.
This agreement covers the development of digital infrastructure, strengthening the data center ecosystem, and exploring technologies to support digital transformation. The MoU was signed by Telkom’s Director of Strategic Business Development & Portfolio, Seno Soemadji; CEO of NeutraDC Group, Andreuw Th.A.F.; and Chi Kaichao, Director of Huawei.
This collaboration is an important step for TelkomGroup in strengthening its digital infrastructure business while also opening up opportunities for technological synergy with Huawei to develop a more reliable and efficient data center ecosystem.
The Partnership is Aimed at Digital Infrastructure, Data Center Development, and Innovation
Seno Soemadji emphasized that this collaboration is part of Telkom's efforts to build a foundation for globally competitive digital infrastructure. He also stated that this partnership will enhance infrastructure capabilities, accelerate innovation in enterprise solutions, and prepare talent to meet the needs of national digital transformation.
Through this collaboration, Telkom, NeutraDC, and Huawei will explore the development of digital infrastructure businesses, particularly in the data center sector. Huawei also has the opportunity to utilize NeutraDC's data center facilities, including the possibility of deploying availability zones for Huawei Cloud, in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
Furthermore, Huawei will share information related to the latest innovations in data center technology, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, architecture, AI-based hardware, and solutions that support operational efficiency and sustainability. This knowledge is expected to strengthen NeutraDC's infrastructure capabilities.
NeutraDC currently operates the NeutraDC Nxera Batam hyperscale data center facility, ready to support AI technology. Located in the SIJORI (Singapore, Johor, and Riau) region, this facility is supported by international connectivity and global standards to serve the needs of the regional digital ecosystem.
Andreuw Th.A.F. stated that this collaboration opens up opportunities to deliver scalable and efficient data center infrastructure ready to support future AI and cloud needs.

Meanwhile, Chi Kaichao stated that this collaboration is expected to strengthen synergies in delivering innovative, efficient, and sustainable data center technology and digital infrastructure, while simultaneously driving the acceleration of digital transformation in Indonesia.
This collaboration between Telkom, NeutraDC, and Huawei aligns with Telkom's vision to accelerate the development of the national digital ecosystem, increase industrial competitiveness, and support Indonesia's digital economic transformation. Through partnerships with various global technology companies, Telkom continues to strengthen its role as a key driver of infrastructure development and integrated digital solutions.
In addition to the MoU signing, Seno Soemadji also held a strategic meeting with Huawei representatives, including James Zhang, VP of Carrier Sales at Huawei Technologies, during the MWC Barcelona event.
The meeting discussed long-term developments related to digital infrastructure, hyperscale data centers, next-generation networks, and strengthening Telkom's B2B ICT capabilities, in line with TelkomGroup's strategy to build a stronger digital ecosystem.
