Jakarta, INTI - Indonesia’s National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) conducted an official working visit to the Czech Republic from February 9 to 13, 2026, as part of the Czech CyberVAC Programme. The delegation was led by Sigit Kurniawan, Director of Cybersecurity Strategy and Crypto under Deputy I.
The program aims to enhance Indonesia’s cybersecurity capacity through knowledge transfer and human resource development, while also opening opportunities for research collaboration and technological innovation between the two countries.
Focus on Advanced Cyber Technologies and Digital Security
During the visit, both sides explored a range of strategic cooperation areas focused on strengthening cybersecurity resilience. Key discussions included the development of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), regulatory frameworks for crypto assets, digital forensics supported by artificial intelligence, and the security of digital identity systems.
In addition, the collaboration also emphasized the importance of national cyber awareness initiatives and the development of cyber range infrastructure to support training and simulation in cybersecurity environments.
Through this initiative, BSSN reaffirmed its commitment to expanding international partnerships as part of its broader strategy to strengthen national cyber resilience. The agency aims to build a secure, reliable, and sustainable cyberspace ecosystem capable of addressing increasingly complex digital threats in the future.
