Jakarta, INTI – The Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo), is continuously reinforcing its digital infrastructure to accelerate the integration of public and electronic-based government services. Minister of Communication and Information Technology (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi explained that the development of application domains and digital infrastructure is the key pillar in achieving the integration of national digital services.
During the First Phase Limited Release of INApas, INAku, and INAgov services held at the INA Digital Office, South Jakarta, on Monday (30/09/2024), Minister Budi Arie revealed that the Government Service Integration System (SPLP), the Government Intranet (JIP), and the National Data Center (PDN) have now optimally supported the digital transformation in government sectors.
SPLP: The Backbone of Government Service Integration
SPLP has become the government’s mainstay in connecting various agencies effectively and efficiently. Over the past two years, this system has covered 61% of the 629 government agencies, with a Service Level Agreement (SLA) reaching 99.5%. This demonstrates SPLP’s reliability in supporting government performance digitally.
"SPLP facilitates seamless integration of services between agencies, enhancing coordination and enabling a more responsive public service system," stated Budi Arie.
With SPLP, previously separate services can now be accessed in a single, unified platform, making it easier for the public to access government services without having to switch between systems.
JIP: Connecting Central and Regional Governments
Moreover, JIP has proven its critical role as the infrastructure for communication between government agencies. JIP now connects 98 out of 109 ministries, agencies, and local governments, enabling secure and rapid data and information exchange.
"JIP creates a strong synergy between the central and regional governments, speeding up bureaucratic processes and improving the effectiveness of public services," said the Minister.
PDN: Pillar of Government Data Security and Integration
In addition to SPLP and JIP, PDN plays an integral role in realizing the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE). PDN not only serves as the central storage for government data but also supports the integration of various digital applications and infrastructure, making it the backbone of the government’s digital transformation.
"PDN is the main infrastructure that ensures all government business processes and data are managed efficiently and securely," Budi Arie explained.
With PDN in place, the security of government data is guaranteed, and cross-agency business processes are integrated, ultimately leading to better services for the public.
An Integrated Digital Government Ecosystem
The government is also developing three crucial pillars within the digital government ecosystem: Digital ID, the Data Exchange Platform, and Digital Payment. Digital ID plays a crucial role in protecting citizens’ identity and personal data, while the Data Exchange Platform acts as a channel for seamless data sharing between agencies.
Digital Payment facilitates swift and secure transactions for the public, making public services more efficient and user-friendly.
"By integrating these three pillars, the government is committed to providing more integrated, fast, and easily accessible services for the public," he added.
Towards a Digital Future for Indonesia
Minister Budi Arie Setiadi expressed optimism that the First Phase Limited Release of INApas, INAku, and INAgov services marks the initial steps towards a more modern and effective digital government era. This transformation is expected to drive collaboration between government agencies and the private sector, positioning Indonesia as a nation with a mature and productive digital ecosystem.
"I am confident this effort will bring Indonesia closer to the vision of national digital transformation, which not only empowers but also delivers real benefits to all levels of society," he concluded.
The event was attended by several government officials, including Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Abdullah Azwar Anas, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, and President Director of Peruri Dwina Septiani Wijaya.
