9 months ago | Artificial Intelligence

Jakarta, INTI –Through the Google for Startups Cloud Program, Interlink Labs has received up to USD 30 million in funding, a collaboration involving Google, Bitvalue Capital, and several other global venture capital firms. Beyond capital, Interlink also gains access to advanced technologies such as Google Cloud and Vertex AI, along with exclusive participation in Google's acceleration programs.

The funding announcement was officially made by Interlink via the X platform in June 2025. Interlink Labs will use the funding to expand its systems engineering team, strengthen cryptography-based security features, and conduct internal testing ahead of a full-scale launch.

Web3 and Digital Identity: A Future Without Central Authorities

Interlink Labs is building a global decentralized digital identity network, referred to as a real people identity network. Leveraging the power of Web3 technology, Interlink aims to create an online identity management system that is more secure, transparent, and independent of centralized third parties.

This solution not only addresses the growing need for digital security but also enables cross-platform interoperability, which is essential for the future of a more open and inclusive internet.

Vertex AI and Cloud Credits Worth Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars

As part of the support program, Interlink Labs will receive up to USD 350,000 in cloud credits, along with direct mentorship from Google’s technology experts. Additionally, access to Vertex AI will allow Interlink’s team to develop machine learning-based identity analysis models that can be integrated modularly with various Web3 protocols.

This technology will further enhance cryptography-based security features and accelerate internal testing and development ahead of a full-scale global launch.

A Strategic Move Toward an Inclusive Technological Future

The inclusion of Interlink Labs in Google’s selected startup cohort marks a new chapter in the innovation landscape of digital identity technology. This is not just support for one company, but a tangible demonstration of Google’s commitment to building a technologically ethical ecosystem with wide-reaching social and economic impact.

The Google for Startups Cloud Program is specifically designed to accelerate the advancement of future-ready technologies, especially in AI, Web3, and inclusive digital infrastructure. With backing from a tech giant like Google, the adoption of Web3 based digital identity is expected to grow rapidly and sustainably.

Conclusion

Google’s investment in Interlink Labs is more than just financial support; it's a strategic move to accelerate the digital identity revolution powered by Web3. This collaboration paves the way for a safer, more transparent, and human-centric digital world, highlighting a future of the internet built on smart and decentralized technology.
