1 year ago | News

Jakarta, INTI - The establishment of the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) under the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka is concrete evidence of the government's seriousness in advancing digitalization in Indonesia. Prioritizing the digital sector, Komdigi plays a crucial role in creating more transparent, efficient, and accurate governance.

Deputy Minister of Komdigi, Angga Raka Prabowo, stressed that government digitalization is key to poverty alleviation efforts in Indonesia. With accurate and validated data through digitalization, the government can provide more targeted social assistance and avoid resource allocation errors.

Digitalization for Poverty Alleviation

Angga Raka Prabowo revealed that the government digitalization program aims to improve the quality of public services and minimize data inaccuracies. He explained that with digital technology, the government could more precisely identify social assistance recipients, ensuring that programs genuinely reach the people in need.

"The guarantee is to ensure that the public directly benefits, and it is targeted through digitalization. Therefore, we are pushing for digitalization in government to ensure that the data is accurate, with individuals identified by name and address in accordance with the government's target," said Angga.

According to him, data digitalization also helps speed up administrative processes and improve the accountability of government agencies in implementing social programs.

Collaboration to Achieve Government Targets

Deputy Minister Angga Raka Prabowo, alongside Deputy Minister Nezar Patria and Minister Meutya Hafid, reaffirmed their commitment to working together to achieve the targets set by President Prabowo Subianto's administration. To realize these goals, they will focus on innovation and the use of technology to enhance the quality of life for the public.

"We are working together, and the most important thing is that all targets are met. The essence is that the public should feel the maximum benefits of the state's presence," Angga emphasized.

This commitment is supported by concrete measures, such as increasing the capacity of government personnel to use digital technology and providing specialized training for the workforce in the government sector.

Enhancing Transparency through Digital Technology

With the ongoing digitalization, the Ministry of Komdigi is also focused on increasing transparency within the government. The government hopes that the use of digital technology will reduce potential deviations and speed up information access for the wider community.

President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated Nezar Patria and Angga Raka Prabowo as Deputy Ministers of Communication and Digital in the Red and White Cabinet for the 2024-2029 period at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, on the afternoon of Monday, October 21, 2024. This step reflects the government's seriousness in realizing better governance through digital technology.

Digitalization as a Driver of Economic and Social Growth

Digitalization impacts not only the government sector but is also expected to drive economic and social growth. With improved digital infrastructure, the government is confident that it can create new opportunities in various sectors, including education, health, and the creative industry.

"The presence of digital in all aspects of life will open up new opportunities for the community, both economically and socially. We believe that digitalization will lead Indonesia to a brighter future," concluded Angga Raka Prabowo.
