After Four Years, NeutraDC Strengthens the Foundation of a Digital Ecosystem Hub

4 months ago | Data Center

Jakarta, INTI - Entering its fourth year, PT Telkom Data Ekosistem (NeutraDC Group), the data center-focused operating company of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, is strengthening its position as a Digital Ecosystem Hub by accelerating strategic collaborations and enhancing service capabilities as an AI enabler. The move reflects the company’s response to the growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) computing while reinforcing the foundation of Indonesia’s data sovereignty amid intensifying regional competition in digital infrastructure.

NeutraDC Group CEO Andreuw Th.A.F said the strengthened positioning reflects the company’s strategic direction in entering the next phase of digital growth.

“Four years is not just a milestone of age, but a moment to reaffirm our role. We are building infrastructure that is not only reliable and secure, but also ready to support AI acceleration. Through cross-ecosystem collaboration, NeutraDC aims to ensure Indonesia has a competitive computing foundation at the regional level,” Andreuw said.

Integrated Infrastructure Strategy for AI and Cloud Growth

He explained that the demand for AI-ready infrastructure has now become an immediate necessity rather than a long-term projection. To address this, NeutraDC is expanding capacity while integrating Colo, Connect, and Compute services to support connectivity and computing orchestration within a unified system.

Operationally, this strategy is implemented through the integration of colocation, compute, and connectivity within a modular ecosystem designed to adapt to evolving technologies, including AI, cloud services, and high-performance computing demands. Through this approach, NeutraDC positions itself not merely as a provider of physical facilities but as a digital ecosystem enabler that unites infrastructure, connectivity, and computing services within a single strategic framework.

Expanding Regional Connectivity Through Singapore

The strategy is also supported by facility expansion in Jakarta, the development of a large-scale data center in Batam, and operations in Singapore. Singapore plays a strategic role as one of the largest interconnection and data traffic hubs in the Asia-Pacific region. By establishing operations there, NeutraDC can connect Indonesia’s domestic ecosystem with global networks more efficiently while offering hybrid architecture and cross-border disaster recovery options for customers.

NeutraDC Singapore has also obtained a Service-Based Operator (SBO) license, allowing the company to officially resell connectivity services while strengthening regulatory compliance at the regional level and supporting long-term business growth.

With facilities operating beyond Indonesia, NeutraDC has become one of the few Indonesian data center operators with an international operational footprint. This model provides several strategic advantages, including improved reliability through cross-border redundancy, stronger regional connectivity, and greater flexibility in managing both domestic and global workloads simultaneously.

“This position provides added value through stronger regional connectivity, cross-border redundancy, and flexible hybrid architectures. With this model, Indonesia is not only a consumer of data but also an integral part of the regional digital infrastructure value chain,” Andreuw said.

Entering its next growth phase, NeutraDC remains committed to expanding infrastructure development in a measured and proactive manner, extending its reach across regions while strengthening service capabilities.

For NeutraDC, the transition from a facility provider to a digital ecosystem enabler is considered crucial in strengthening Indonesia’s competitiveness within the Asia-Pacific digital infrastructure landscape. The availability of hyperscale and AI-ready capacity domestically is expected not only to accelerate industrial transformation but also to enhance Indonesia’s attractiveness as a technology-driven investment destination.

Conclusion

As NeutraDC enters its next phase of growth, the company is strengthening its role not only as a data center provider but as a key enabler of Indonesia’s digital ecosystem. By expanding AI-ready infrastructure and regional connectivity, NeutraDC aims to reinforce Indonesia’s position within the Asia-Pacific digital infrastructure landscape.
