15 hours ago | Network Infrastructure

Jakarta, INTI - The BAKTI Komdigi, in collaboration with Detikcom, organized an award event titled the Apresiasi Konektivitas Digital 2026. During the event, Telkomsel was recognized as one of the award recipients.

The award ceremony took place at Hotel Sultan on Friday, April 17, 2026, starting at 6:00 PM local time. Telkomsel was honored with the title of Best Cellular Operator Pioneer in Expanding Digital Connectivity Across 3T Regions (frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped areas).

Overcoming Challenges in 3T Regions

This achievement reflects one of Telkomsel’s strategic efforts to promote equitable access to information and accelerate Indonesia’s national digital transformation. However, delivering connectivity in these regions is far from easy.

Indonesia’s archipelagic geography, extreme terrains, limited supporting infrastructure, and diverse socio-economic conditions present significant challenges. Despite these obstacles, Telkomsel, in partnership with BAKTI, has taken a leading role in connecting previously hard-to-reach areas.

The company has demonstrated strong commitment, innovation, and resilience in delivering telecommunications services to communities that need them most. Its efforts go beyond building network infrastructure, extending access to broader opportunities.

With a mission to reach the unconnected, Telkomsel has also contributed to improving access to education, healthcare services, economic opportunities, and social connectivity for people living in 3T regions.

The Apresiasi Konektivitas Digital 2026, organized by BAKTI Komdigi and Detikcom, aims to recognize individuals, communities, and institutions that play a tangible role in strengthening digital connectivity and literacy across various regions in Indonesia.

Conclusion

Telkomsel’s recognition highlights the critical role of sustained investment and collaboration in bridging Indonesia’s digital divide. Expanding connectivity in 3T regions is not only about infrastructure, but also about enabling equal access to opportunities and services. Moving forward, continued innovation and multi-stakeholder partnerships will be essential to ensure that digital transformation reaches every corner of the country.
