Jakarta, INTI - Celebrating its 61st anniversary, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk continues to solidify its position as the primary catalyst for the nation’s digital transformation. Far from being just a milestone for reflection, this year's anniversary highlights Telkom’s active initiatives in empowering MSMEs, promoting environmental sustainability, and cultivating Artificial Intelligence (AI) talent.
The peak of the 61st-anniversary celebration, themed "Siner61 Transformasi" (Synergy of Transformation), took place on Monday, July 6, 2026, at The Telkom Hub in Jakarta. The hybrid event was attended by the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors, senior leaders, the Employee Union Chairperson, and TelkomGroup employees across Jakarta and five regional areas.
Leadership Vision for Sustainable Growth
Telkom’s President Director, Dian Siswarini, urged the entire TelkomGroup family to reflect on the company's long journey and shared achievements. She emphasized that this milestone serves as a catalyst to boost performance, meet corporate targets, and steer the TLKM 30 transformation program toward sustainable growth.
"The TLKM 30 transformation is not just a corporate project; it is a strategic choice to accelerate decision-making, foster bold innovation, and focus on value creation. Through a shared spirit of transformation synergy, I am confident we can keep Telkom relevant, competitive, and the main driver of Indonesia's digital future," Dian stated.
Echoing this optimism, Independent Commissioner Rofikoh Rokhim noted that for over six decades, Telkom has united the nation through digital connectivity. Moving forward, she stressed that the company must continually evolve to stay customer-oriented, maintain high integrity, and remain accountable in delivering top-tier services nationwide.
Fostering Engagement and ESG Commitments
The 61st-anniversary festivities featured a variety of engaging activities for employees and the community. The celebrations were enlivened by internal community exhibitions, bazaars, sports and e-sports tournaments, internal talent searches, blood donation drives, and various entertainment stages.
Aligned with its commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, Telkom ensured the event was eco-friendly by implementing strict waste management and sorting systems to support a circular economy. Through a strategic partnership with Rekosistem and Plasticpay, attendees were actively encouraged to separate and recycle waste. To mark this special occasion, Telkom also boosted the rewards for its Reverse Vending Machines (RVM) to Rp610 per activation at the Telkom Landmark Towers in Jakarta and Surabaya, as well as the Menara Multimedia in Jakarta.
Conclusion
Telkom Indonesia’s 61st anniversary marks a significant milestone that extends far beyond corporate celebration. Through its "Siner61 Transformasi" theme and the TLKM 30 roadmap, the company reaffirms its strategic role as the backbone of Indonesia's digital evolution. By successfully balancing cutting-edge technology like AI with impactful socio-environmental initiatives, such as MSME empowerment and robust ESG-driven waste management, Telkom demonstrates that its path forward is not only focused on market competitiveness but also on driving sustainable, inclusive growth for the entire nation.
