18 hours ago | Robot Industrial & Automation

Jakarta, INTI - The Indonesian Robotics Association (PRSI) organized a robotics introduction and training program at SMPN 259 Jakarta as part of its "Robotics for the Nation" initiative, aimed at expanding access to robotics education, strengthening STEM learning, and improving digital literacy among students. Held on June 25, the program reflects PRSI's commitment to preparing Indonesia's younger generation with the technological skills needed for the future.

Expanding Access to Robotics and STEM Education

Supported by the PRSI Jakarta Chapter, the initiative introduced students to the fundamentals of robotics through interactive sessions and hands-on experience with robotic devices. Participants were given the opportunity to learn basic robotics concepts, programming principles, and practical applications, allowing them to better understand how robotics and automation are transforming industries and everyday life.

In addition to the training sessions, PRSI donated robotics equipment and educational kits to SMPN 259 Jakarta to support the school's learning activities and extracurricular robotics program. The contribution is expected to provide students and teachers with greater opportunities to develop technical skills, encourage innovation, and nurture future STEM talent while fostering a stronger culture of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education in Indonesian schools.

Conclusion

Through its "Robotics for the Nation" initiative, PRSI aims to make robotics education more accessible while strengthening STEM learning and digital literacy across Indonesian schools. By combining hands-on training with the provision of robotics equipment, the program is expected to inspire innovation, nurture future technology talent, and better prepare students for the demands of an increasingly technology-driven world.
