Jakarta, INTI - Two outstanding students from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 6 Model Banda Aceh are set to make their mark on the global stage. They are Ghazi Almahrus (Grade 5) and Khalil Muntaza (Grade 4), who are part of Indonesia’s delegation at the international robotics competition titled World Robotic for Peace 2026.
The prestigious event will be held at the Science Centre Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from June 26 to 30, 2026. Under the guidance of expert coach Sari Ali, M.Si. (Master in AI & Robotics), both students have undergone intensive preparation to compete against hundreds of participants from various countries across Asia.
Support and Expectations from Education Authorities
The Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Aceh, Azhari, personally saw off the delegation and expressed high appreciation for the students, coaches, and the school administration. He hoped the participation would not only serve as a platform to test technological innovation skills, but also inspire young Indonesians to master future technologies from an early age.
Meanwhile, the Head of MIN 6 Model Banda Aceh, H. Bukhari, S.Pd., M.Pd., expressed his hope that the team would bring honor to Aceh on the international stage and achieve the best possible results.
