JAKARTA, 19 December 2025 – China Mobile International (CMI) Indonesia successfully convened national leaders at its flagship summit, TechConnect+ 2025, yesterday at the Park Hyatt Jakarta. The event served as a strategic dialogue, uniting government regulators, cybersecurity experts, and industry captains to map out a secure path for Indonesia’s acceleration toward the "Golden Indonesia 2045" vision.
CMI used the platform to declare a pivotal shift: moving beyond being a global connectivity provider to becoming Indonesia’s comprehensive digital enabler, prioritizing Cyber Resilience and AI Adoption.
Government Support for Industrial Transformation. The event opened with a keynote address by Solehan, SP, MM, Director of Machinery and Agricultural Machinery Industry at the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin). In his address, he highlighted the critical need for robust digital infrastructure to accelerate the 4.0 transformation of Indonesia's core industries, signaling strong government alignment with CMI’s infrastructure initiatives.
Securing Indonesia's Digital Sovereignty. The summit’s first high-level panel, titled "IoT Connectivity Transformation & Digital Protection for a Trusted Digital Ecosystem," addressed the nation's most critical challenge: building a trusted ecosystem amidst rising global cyber threats.
David Sugandi, Marketing Manager of CMI Indonesia, led the discourse alongside distinguished heavyweights:
- Dharma Pangrekun, Senior Cybersecurity Leader & Former Government Official.
- Randy Maulana Akbar, Chairman of the Indonesia Cloud Hosting Association (IDPRO member) and CEO of Qwords Group.
The session was moderated by Zulfadly Syam, Head of Cyber Security and Data Protection at MASTEL (Masyarakat Telematika Indonesia).
In a strong statement regarding national infrastructure, David Sugandi emphasized:

Accelerating National Health Transformation: Demonstrating Support for the Ministry of Health’s Digital Transformation Blueprint. The second panel focused on "Transforming Healthcare Systems Through Intelligent AI Solutions."
Cheong Gze Wei, Solution Manager at CMI Indonesia, presented CMI's readiness to support the sector alongside:
- Setiaji, Chief of the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) at the Ministry of Health.
- Andreas Tjendra, Advisor for the AI National Roadmap and Director of AI Innovation at KORIKA.
This session, also moderated by Zulfadly Syam, highlighted how CMI’s AI-driven infrastructure is ready to support the government's mandate to equalize access to health services across the archipelago.
A Unified Ecosystem Opening the event, Asep Nasrullah, Business Manager of CMI Indonesia, reinforced that cross-sector collaboration is non-negotiable. "To flourish in the digital era, the government, private sector, and infrastructure providers must operate as one ecosystem. CMI is here to facilitate that unity," Asep stated.
