5 hours ago | Industrial Transformation

Jakarta, INTI - Danantara Indonesia will host the Danantara Technology Innovation Investment Forum (DTIIF) 2026 from October 26–28, 2026, in Jakarta. The forum aims to connect Indonesia’s strategic industries with cutting-edge technologies, innovation ecosystems, scientific expertise, and long-term global capital.

With approximately 1,500 participants expected to attend, the event seeks to strengthen technology- and innovation-driven industrial development in Indonesia while promoting investment opportunities and strategic partnerships with international stakeholders.

Danantara Indonesia Chief Technology Officer Sigit Puji Santosa said the organization aims to position itself as a pioneer in technology-based industrial development and a key driver of investment in Indonesia.

“Our hope is that Danantara will become a pioneer and a driving force behind technology-based industries in Indonesia, while also serving as a catalyst for investment,” Sigit said during a press conference in Jakarta on Monday, October 19, 2026.

According to Sigit, DTIIF 2026 is designed to strengthen Indonesia’s industrial and investment ecosystems while supporting the implementation of various government programs.

He emphasized that developing industries driven by technology and innovation is an important step toward maximizing Indonesia’s economic potential.

Danantara Focuses on Six Strategic Industrial Sectors

DTIIF 2026 will focus on six strategic industrial clusters considered essential to shaping Indonesia’s future economic development.

These clusters cover energy; agriculture, food, and healthcare; advanced materials and semiconductors; transportation and infrastructure; finance and banking; as well as artificial intelligence (AI), digital infrastructure, and telecommunications.

Through the forum, Danantara aims to connect the needs of Indonesia’s domestic industries with global technological advancements, research capabilities, and long-term investment financing.

Sigit stressed that DTIIF 2026 is intended to be more than a platform for meetings and the exchange of ideas. It is expected to generate tangible investment agreements and strategic partnerships.

“The measure of success will be how much investment and how many collaborations or strategic partnerships we establish through this forum,” Sigit said.

Accordingly, the forum’s success will be assessed based on the investments and strategic partnerships developed through interactions among industry players, technology developers, researchers, and investors.

DTIIF 2026 Targets 1,500 Participants and Global Technology Companies

Danantara Indonesia Managing Director of Global Relations & Communications Pahala Nugraha Mansury explained that DTIIF serves as a platform for building trust and strengthening Indonesia’s relationships with global stakeholders.

According to Pahala, the forum will give international partners an opportunity to directly observe Indonesia’s capabilities in technology development and innovation.

These capabilities include the contributions of researchers, academics, and domestic companies involved in developing technologies to support the growth of Indonesia’s industrial sector.

Danantara hopes that direct engagement with international stakeholders will demonstrate Indonesia’s commitment to building a strong technology and innovation ecosystem.

Such interactions are also expected to strengthen investor confidence and increase global partners’ interest in investment opportunities in Indonesia, particularly in technology-based industries.

Over its three-day program, DTIIF 2026 is targeting approximately 1,500 participants from the industrial, technology, research, investment, and government sectors.

The planned participants include 170 global innovators, 131 CEOs of global technology companies, 67 research and innovation centers, and more than 50 state-owned enterprises (SOEs).

The forum will also bring together Nobel laureates, sovereign and institutional investors, government leaders, academic partners, and emerging startups.

Confirmed speakers are expected to include senior representatives of the Indonesian government, Nobel laureates, and representatives from global technology companies, including Google and Microsoft.

Danantara stated that additional speakers would be announced closer to the event.

Three-Day Forum to Explore Global Partnerships and the Future of Innovation

DTIIF 2026 will run for three days, with a program designed to strengthen technology collaboration, investment, and the development of Indonesia’s domestic industries.

On October 26, the forum will focus on “Strategic Outlook and Global Partnership,” emphasizing the establishment of shared priorities and the development of international partnerships.

The second day, October 27, will feature the theme “Technology, Innovation, and Investment Collaboration,” connecting emerging technologies and innovative ideas with industrial needs and sources of capital.

On October 28, the final day will address “Youth, Inclusion, and Sustainable Future,” highlighting the development of an inclusive and sustainable innovation ecosystem for future generations.

The program will begin with remarks from government officials, ministers, and global economic leaders participating in the forum.

Danantara Indonesia’s leadership team will subsequently present key investment opportunities and its corporate portfolio through dedicated C-suite sessions.

Danantara Prepares Business Meetings and Investment Opportunities

Beyond strategic discussions, DTIIF 2026 will feature plenary sessions and collaborative activities designed to create opportunities for partnerships between Indonesian companies and international counterparts.

The agenda will include Nobel Laureate Lectures, sector showcases, and project pitching sessions.

The forum will also organize business-matching sessions and closed-door bilateral meetings to connect stakeholders interested in investment and technology development.

These activities are intended to enable industry players, technology developers, researchers, and investors to discuss market needs, business opportunities, and potential forms of collaboration that could be translated into concrete projects.

Through DTIIF 2026, Danantara Indonesia aims to establish stronger connections between domestic industries and the global innovation ecosystem.

The forum is also expected to generate strategic partnerships and tangible investments that support technology-driven industrial development and Indonesia’s long-term economic growth.

Conclusion

DTIIF 2026 is expected to strengthen Indonesia’s position in the global technology and innovation landscape by connecting strategic industries with international investors, technology leaders, researchers, and innovators. Through its focus on six key industrial sectors, Danantara Indonesia aims to secure tangible investments and strategic partnerships that accelerate technology-driven industrial development and support sustainable long-term economic growth.
