InaRI Expo 2025 carries a renewed spirit under the theme “Unlocking Innovation, Empowering the Future with AI.” This theme emphasizes how artificial intelligence (AI) serves as a key accelerator in advancing the downstreaming of research and innovation outcomes across various national strategic sectors. More than just an exhibition, InaRI Expo acts as a cross-sector collaboration platform connecting research results with real-world needs of society and industry.
BRIN Head Laksana Tri Handoko stated that InaRI Expo 2025 is a critical moment to demonstrate to the public that research and innovation are not exclusive activities but are transformative forces accessible to all.
“InaRI Expo does not only showcase research outcomes but serves as a stage for interaction between science, industry, and society. Amid rapid developments in AI and other frontier technologies, Indonesia has a significant opportunity to become a major player in the knowledge-based economy. We want to ensure our research has direct and tangible impact,” emphasized Handoko.
This year, InaRI Expo will be held in conjunction with the Indonesia Technology and Innovation (INTI) exhibition and the AI Experience Summit ID, positioning it as the epicenter of innovative thought and a national technology showcase. The event will spotlight six key thematic areas: food security, health and medical technology, green energy, biodiversity and the environment, social resilience, and knowledge-based economy.
