Jakarta, INTI - Telkom Data Ekosistem (NeutraDC), an operating company of Telkom Indonesia, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with F5 (NASDAQ: FFIV) to explore a strategic partnership in developing AI Connectivity solutions in Indonesia. The MoU signing took place during the Mobile World Congress 2026 (MWC 2026) in Barcelona on Tuesday, March 3.

MWC is a global technology and telecommunications event that brings together digital industry players to explore trends, innovations, and collaboration opportunities. The event serves as a strategic platform for TelkomGroup to expand international partnerships while strengthening its capabilities and positioning within the global digital ecosystem.

Strengthening AI-Driven Digital Infrastructure and Ecosystem Integration

During the event, Telkom’s Director of Strategic Business Development & Portfolio, Seno Soemadji, held a series of strategic meetings with global technology partners to reinforce TelkomGroup’s ecosystem in developing AI-driven digital infrastructure. These discussions included potential collaborations in hyperscale data center development, enhanced connectivity solutions, and the exploration of new business models based on managed services and digital platforms.

TelkomGroup also used this momentum to promote collaborations that go beyond infrastructure development, focusing on the integration of high-value digital services. One of the key initiatives is the development of Indonesia’s digital ecosystem through the integration of data centers, connectivity, cloud environments, and AI-based application security capabilities.

Enhancing Data Center Capabilities with AI Security and Multi Cloud Solutions

The MoU between NeutraDC and F5 was signed by NeutraDC CEO Andreuw Th.A.F. and F5 Chief Revenue Officer Chad Whalen, and witnessed by Seno Soemadji. This collaboration marks a strategic step to integrate NeutraDC’s data center and managed services capabilities with F5’s AI security and application delivery solutions, enabling secure, scalable, and future-ready AI-based connectivity services.

As a national data center service provider with an integrated ecosystem, NeutraDC offers colocation, compute, and connectivity services. Through this partnership, the company aims to enhance its value proposition by strengthening application security and enabling multi-cloud environment management for customers.

Andreuw Th.A.F. stated that the collaboration is part of NeutraDC’s strategy to reinforce its position as an AI-ready digital infrastructure provider. By integrating F5’s AI security and application delivery solutions into NeutraDC’s managed services, the company seeks to deliver services that are not only reliable but also secure, adaptive, and capable of supporting AI workloads and mission-critical applications.

He added that the synergy will enrich NeutraDC’s service portfolio, particularly in supporting enterprise customers adopting hybrid and multi-cloud architectures. As demand for application security, traffic visibility, and performance optimization continues to grow alongside AI and cloud adoption, NeutraDC aims to become a strategic partner in customers’ end-to-end digital transformation journeys.

Chad Whalen highlighted Indonesia as a strategic market with significant digital economic growth. He emphasized F5’s commitment to delivering application security and delivery solutions capable of protecting modern applications in multi-cloud and AI-driven environments. Through this collaboration, F5 aims to bring its technology closer to local data center infrastructure, ensuring Indonesian customers benefit from integrated, secure, and high-performance AI Connectivity solutions.

Meanwhile, Seno Soemadji reaffirmed that this collaboration reflects TelkomGroup’s commitment to building a globally competitive national digital ecosystem. He noted that AI-secure connectivity goes beyond basic network services, representing a comprehensive integration of network infrastructure, data centers, cloud, and application security. Strengthening these capabilities is expected to accelerate national digital transformation while unlocking new business opportunities in the AI-driven economy.

This initiative is also aligned with the Indonesian government’s strategic agenda to accelerate digital transformation, strengthen data sovereignty and security, and build resilient digital infrastructure to support economic growth and AI adoption across industries.

Going forward, both parties will conduct further discussions to develop a structured implementation plan, covering technical, operational, commercial, and governance aspects, while adhering to Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles and regulatory compliance in Indonesia.

Through this collaboration, NeutraDC and F5 aim to establish a strong AI Connectivity foundation for industries in Indonesia, while enhancing national competitiveness in the era of AI-driven digital transformation.
