Jakarta, INTI - President University has secured the 165th position globally in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2026 and was ranked among the top 100 universities worldwide in 18 out of 24 innovation categories assessed.
The achievement was announced by Adhi Setyo Santoso, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Research, and Innovation at President University, in Jakarta on Friday, June 5, 2026.
“President University remains committed to providing future-ready education for all students. We continuously develop innovative learning approaches to ensure that students can keep pace with global developments, enabling them to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that can be applied directly in real-world situations,” said Adhi.
Among the World’s Top Five in Four Innovation Categories
President University also earned a place among the top five universities globally in four innovation categories.
These categories include cultural value innovation, technological infrastructure, AI-powered learning transformation, and inclusive social innovation.
One of the university’s globally recognized initiatives is RobloxVerse Learning, a platform that delivers immersive classroom simulations within a metaverse-based digital environment.
In addition, the university has developed HumAIn Learning, a program that integrates artificial intelligence technologies to create adaptive and inclusive learning experiences.
“The use of AI in HumAIn Learning is not intended to replace lecturers. Instead, it is designed to strengthen the educational process while maintaining lecturers as the central figures in academic interaction and the primary mentors in student development,” he explained.
Focus on Community Empowerment and Student Character Development
The WURI assessment also highlighted President University’s community empowerment initiatives.
Among the programs receiving international recognition is its support for women farmer groups, aimed at promoting sustainable agricultural practices and community development.
Beyond technological innovation, the university emphasizes character building and social responsibility, equipping students with the values needed to thrive in today’s evolving workforce.
“Through its Culture of Care (CoC) initiative, President University reaffirms its belief that universities should not only produce professionally competent graduates but also individuals who are ethical, compassionate, and committed to environmental sustainability,” Adhi concluded.
Conclusion
President University’s strong performance in WURI 2026 highlights its commitment to innovation, AI-driven education, and social impact. By combining advanced learning technologies with community empowerment and character development, the university continues to prepare students for the demands of a rapidly evolving global landscape.
