Jakarta, INTI - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga shared insights into the energy industry with students of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya through the Pertamina Goes to Campus (PGTC) 2026 program.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Director of Refinery Operations Didik Bahagia said in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday that the program brought together students, academics, and Pertamina Patra Niaga professionals to exchange knowledge about the energy industry while strengthening engagement with the younger generation.
He emphasized that collaboration between industry and higher education is essential to align industry needs with ideas and innovations emerging from academic environments.
According to Didik, addressing future energy challenges will require contributions from various stakeholders, including university students who can begin making an impact while still pursuing their studies.
“Pertamina Goes to Campus is not simply a corporate outreach or an introduction to Pertamina Patra Niaga. We hope it can serve as a dialogue platform between industry and the younger generation to discuss Indonesia’s energy challenges in a way that is closer to and more relevant to everyday life,” he said.
Pertamina also aims to hear the ideas, perspectives, and aspirations of young people, as solutions to future energy challenges can emerge from university classrooms and laboratories, Didik added.
Meanwhile, Pertamina Patra Niaga Vice President of Corporate Communication Kitty Andhora said PGTC provides an opportunity for the company to introduce students to the professional world while offering insights into the competencies and experiences needed to prepare for future careers.
“Our presence at ITS is also part of our effort to prepare students who will become the next generation of the nation. Competencies, educational quality, organizational experience, and social life are all valuable foundations as students prepare for life after graduation. We invite the entire ITS academic community to contribute to developing high-quality human resources,” Kitty said.

The 2026 PGTC program at ITS, held on Tuesday (September 15, 2026), featured a series of interactive and inspirational sessions.
Students gained insights into the dynamics of the energy industry through an industry insight session. They also had the opportunity to hear firsthand experiences about the workplace, leadership, and career development from ITS alumni who now serve on the executive management team of Pertamina Patra Niaga.
The event was attended by ITS Rector Prof. Bambang Pramujati, Pertamina Corporate Secretary Arya Dwi Paramita, and members of Pertamina Patra Niaga’s management team, including Director of Refinery Operations Didik Bahagia, Director of Downstream Optimization and Distribution Hari Purnomo, Director of Business Planning and Growth Joko Pranoto, Director of Infrastructure, Projects, and Asset Integrity Setyo Pitoyo, and Corporate Secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun.
