Net Profit of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (ISAT) Rises 12.2% in 2025, Driven by Higher ARPU and 5G Network Expansion

Jakarta, INTI - PT Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Tbk (ISAT) has released its financial results for the full year 2025.

Based on a disclosure published on the official website of the Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) on Monday, February 9, 2026, the company recorded revenue of Rp56.52 trillion in 2025, reflecting a 1.1% year-on-year increase.

EBITDA reached Rp26.59 trillion, up 0.8% year on year, with the EBITDA margin remaining stable at 47.1%.

Profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity rose 12.2% year on year to Rp5.51 trillion. In the fourth quarter of 2025, Indosat posted revenue of Rp15.36 trillion, growing 9.3% quarter on quarter.

In terms of business segments, cellular services remained the primary revenue driver, contributing Rp47.36 trillion or 83.8% of total revenue. The Multimedia, Communication, Data and Internet (MIDI) segment grew 4.5% to Rp8.34 trillion, supported by higher IT services revenue. Meanwhile, fixed telecommunications revenue declined 5.4% to Rp817.6 billion.

Operational Growth Driven by ARPU and Network Expansion 

Operational performance also improved, as reflected in blended cellular ARPU, which increased 10.5% quarter on quarter in Q4 2025 to Rp44,000. The total subscriber base stood at 93.7 million, comprising 91.9 million prepaid and 1.8 million postpaid users.

“Throughout 2025, we remained focused on maintaining profitability while enhancing service quality through network strengthening and operational efficiency,” Indosat’s management wrote in the disclosure published on BEI’s official website on Monday February 9, 2026.

From an infrastructure perspective, Indosat operated 213,898 4G BTS by the end of 2025, adding around 18,000 BTS during the year. The company also aggressively expanded its 5G network, reaching a total of 6,872 BTS, up sharply from just 107 BTS in the previous year. This network enhancement supported 9.2% year-on-year growth in data traffic, which reached 17,655 petabytes.

Indosat further strengthened its technological capabilities by inaugurating an AI-RAN Research Center in Surabaya in November 2025, in collaboration with Nokia and NVIDIA. The company also partnered with Qualcomm to implement the Qualcomm Dragonwing RAN Automation Suite to enhance AI-based network efficiency.

Financially, Indosat’s total assets reached Rp118.63 trillion as of December 31, 2025. Cash and cash equivalents stood at Rp5.07 trillion, with net debt recorded at Rp10.32 trillion. The net debt-to-EBITDA ratio remained at a healthy level.

Throughout 2025, Indosat allocated capital expenditure of Rp13.28 trillion, with approximately 78.6% directed toward supporting data service growth in its cellular business.
