One effort is carried out by the Center for Standardization and Industrial Services (BSPJI) Padang, under the Ministry of Industry's Agency for Standardization and Industrial Services Policy (BSKJI). BSPJI Padang is providing green industry certification and standardization services to increase production efficiency and raise concerns for the environment.
On Thursday, March 3, 2026, Minister of Industry, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, said that green industry implementation is an important factor in building a national industry that is focused on strengthening industrial competitiveness and supporting sustainability.
"The government encourages industrial companies to apply resource efficiency and environmentally friendly and sustainable principles consistently," Agus said in his statement.
