Jakarta, INTI - PT Danantara Investment Management (DIM) has reopened registration for its Selected Provider List (Daftar Penyedia Terseleksi/DPT) to identify partners for waste-to-energy (WTE) projects in Indonesia. The selection process is open to both national and international companies and consortia possessing the necessary technical and project financing capabilities.
This pre-qualification process is being conducted through DIM’s subsidiary, PT Daya Energi Bersih Nusantara (Denera). Registration has been reopened following two previous pre-qualification rounds that attracted participation from companies across seven countries.
The WTE project is based on Presidential Regulation No. 109 of 2025, which serves as the foundation for accelerating the development of WTE facilities. The project aims to address urban waste issues and generate energy from waste processing.
In this selection round, DIM and Denera are seeking companies or consortium members with a track record in WTE project development, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), technology provision, operations and maintenance (O&M), project financing, and related infrastructure services. The selection process will evaluate technical capabilities, financial capacity, experience, and the ability to execute large-scale projects.
Adding Potential Partners for the WTE Project
CEO of Denera, Fadli Rahman, stated that the expansion of the DPT aims to increase the pool of potential partners available for PSEL project development.
"The challenge of waste management in Indonesia cannot be resolved through individual projects alone. It requires an ecosystem of credible partners possessing the necessary technology, financial capacity, operational capabilities, and a long-term commitment to executing large-scale projects," said Fadli in a statement.
Fadli added that through the DPT registration process, Danantara is expanding this ecosystem while creating opportunities for more national and international business players to bring their best experience and capabilities to Indonesia's WTE project.
"Our priorities remain the same: strong partnerships, proven capabilities, and execution that delivers tangible impact on the ground," said Fadli.
Fadli explained that PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF) has been appointed as the Registration and Verification Agent and will handle the registration process and provide registration packages to companies interested in participating in the pre-qualification.
