Jakarta, INTI - China announced the launch of a global AI education service platform at the World Digital Education Conference 2026 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.
The platform is aimed to promote cross-border sharing of high-quality educational resources and further integrating AI into education.
The launch is part of a broader upgrade of Smart Education of China, a digital education platform now accessible in approximately 220 countries and regions.
The upgraded platform expands its international services with new features, including a lifelong learning center and a Mandarin language learning community.
AI Integration in the Platform
During the conference, which was held from May 11–13, a report outlining the progress of China's innovative policies and practices in smart education was also launched.
An initiative on AI education was also launched at the event, calling for greater use of AI to support comprehensive and sustainable human development. It also urged stronger efforts to bridge the global digital divide by better leveraging smart education platforms to share high-quality digital resources and tools.
