4 months ago | Artificial Intelligence

Jakarta, INTI – Indonesia’s entertainment industry is entering a new chapter with the arrival of Usky.AI, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based content creation ecosystem that officially launched its innovative over-the-top (OTT) platform on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in Jakarta. This launch addresses the challenges faced by local creators due to limited opportunities while meeting the public’s demand for smarter, more interactive digital entertainment.
Unlike popular platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, or Instagram, Usky.AI offers a transparent monetization system powered by blockchain and features exclusive AI-generated films that are not available on other platforms. This innovation opens new creative economy opportunities for artists, creators, and AI-based filmmakers across Indonesia, while providing audiences with educational and engaging viewing alternatives.

Fostering Creativity Through the AI Film Competition

As part of its commitment to building an AI-driven creative industry, Usky.AI will host a national event called the “Usky AI Film Award.” The competition provides an opportunity for AI filmmakers to showcase their best works and compete at the national level.
According to Usky.AI’s CMO, Roby Busri, the event is not just a regular competition but a stage for the emergence of world-class Indonesian AI creators. The series of events will begin in December 2025 with Usky AI Short Film 2025 and culminate in the Grand Final of the Usky AI Film Award scheduled for April 2026.
Collaboration Between Technology, Art, and Industry

To maintain quality standards and credibility, Usky.AI has appointed professional judges, including Syaifullah Agam, Director of Film, Music, and Arts at the Ministry of Culture, and King Bagus, producer of the film “Ini Ini Ngeri” and initiator of the groundbreaking AI film “Diponegoro Hero.”
The presence of these judges is expected to strengthen the position of the Usky AI Film Award 2026 as a platform that genuinely integrates technology, art, and the creative industry. Roby Busri emphasized, “Through this event, we aim to show that AI-based creations are not just technological outputs, but also carry significant artistic and economic value.”

Conclusion

The launch of Usky.AI’s AI-based OTT platform marks a major milestone in the transformation of Indonesia’s entertainment industry. With technological innovation, blockchain transparency, and strong support for local creators, Usky.AI not only delivers new forms of digital entertainment but also paves the way for an inclusive and globally competitive AI-driven creative economy.
