With this vision, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) participated in InnoVibes 2026, an innovation forum initiated by DKST ITB that brings together industry leaders, academia, startups, government institutions, and digital talent to foster AI development in Indonesia.

Held at ITB Innovation Park in Bandung, InnoVibes 2026 featured a series of activities, including focus group discussions (FGDs), industry showcases, knowledge-sharing sessions, and networking opportunities. The event provided a platform for participants to exchange insights on the latest AI developments, discuss implementation challenges across industries, and explore collaborative opportunities to drive innovation that addresses both industrial and societal needs.

Advancing AI Collaboration Through AIcosystem

On the opening day, Telkom's Research & Growth Lead from AI Campus joined representatives from ITB and Bio Farma as a speaker in the FGD titled "Integrating AI into Business Innovation." The discussion highlighted AI's role in driving business innovation, improving operational efficiency, and creating sustainable value through responsible AI adoption.

Another featured session, "Leveraging AI for Cybersecurity," examined how AI technologies can strengthen cybersecurity capabilities amid the growing complexity of digital threats.

The second day included a live podcast titled "Implementation of Artificial Intelligence in the Electronics, Creative Industry, and Defense Sectors," featuring speakers from Agate and Pindad. The discussion explored AI applications across strategic industries while highlighting future opportunities and implementation challenges.

Beyond participating in the discussions, Telkom introduced AIcosystem during the Industry Showcase as a strategic initiative to advance Indonesia's AI sovereignty. The platform is built upon three integrated layers, AI Infrastructure, AI Models & Platform, and AI Solutions & Applications, creating a comprehensive foundation for developing sustainable AI innovations across multiple sectors.

In a separate statement, Komang Budi Aryasa, Executive General Manager of Digital Product at Telkom, emphasized that Indonesia's AI future depends on close collaboration among industry, academia, government, startups, and digital talent.

The AI CoE is built on five strategic pillars: AI Campus, which strengthens research collaboration with universities; AI Playground, providing developers with an environment to explore and build AI models; AI Connect, dedicated to developing Indonesia's digital talent; AI Native, accelerating AI adoption across Telkom's operations; and AI Hub, which showcases validated AI use cases ready for deployment across industries.

During the Industry Showcase, Telkom also demonstrated several AI-powered solutions developed under AI BigBox, highlighting practical AI applications for business and public services.
