Jakarta, INTI – Hundreds of schools across West Java, Banten, and Jakarta came together in a single digital learning space as PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk officially launched the Kunjungan Industri Digital (KID) 2025 program. Held virtually on Wednesday (August 6, 2025) via the MyDigiLearn platform, the event invited thousands of students and teachers to directly engage with future-oriented technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, and cybersecurity.
Education–Industry Collaboration
The KID 2025 program brought together 117 schools, 640 teachers, and 5,524 high school and vocational school students.
EVP Telkom Regional II, Edie Kurniawan, stated that this initiative serves as a catalyst for the education sector to prepare talent capable of competing in the digital era.
“Digital transformation can only happen if teachers, students, and industry players work together to create an adaptive and progressive learning ecosystem,” he emphasized.
The opening ceremony was also attended by Dr. Muhammad Muchlas Rowi, Special Staff to the Ministry of Education for Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence, who delivered a presentation on the Coding and Artificial Intelligence Learning Policy (Koding-KA).
First-Hand Tech Insights from Practitioners
Participants in KID 2025 received inspiring presentations from Telkom experts, including:
- Akhmad Aryandi (Operation Senior Manager, Cyber Security Services) – on the importance of cybersecurity awareness.
- Agus Laksono (Tribe Leader, Big Data & Smart Platform) – on leveraging Big Data to support industry.
- Ibnu Alinursafa (Tribe Leader, IoT Platform Services) – on IoT innovations relevant to education.
Interactive Program Series
The program is divided into two main series:
- Series 1: AI & IoT (August–September 2025) covering real-life applications of technology, implementation simulations, and digital ethics training.
- Series 2: Cybersecurity (October 2025) focusing on digital safety awareness, identifying cyber threats, and collaborative exercises as “cyber detective” teams.
The best-performing schools will earn the opportunity to visit Telkom Corporate University Center (Telkom CorpU) in Bandung.
