PRSI, IESPA, and Kemkomdigi Strategic Collaboration to Develop Indonesian Digital Talent in Robotics and Esports

Jakarta, INTI - The Indonesian Robotics Association (PRSI), the Indonesia Esports Association (IESPA), and the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Kemkomdigi) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen digital talent development, technological literacy, and the national robotics and esports ecosystem.

The signing took place during the IESPA National Conference at Balai Kartini. The agreement was signed by PRSI Chairman Wahyu Hidayat, IESPA Chairman Ibnu Riza Pradipto, and Bonifasius Wahyu Pudjianto, Head of Agency for Human Resources Development at Kemkomdigi.

Bonifasius stated that collaboration between robotics and esports can be an effective means of improving the digital competence of the younger generation.

"Kemkomdigi fully supports the collaboration between PRSI and IESPA as part of the effort to create a superior and globally competitive digital talent ecosystem. Robotics and esports have great potential as engaging technology learning media for the younger generation," said Bonifasius.

He added that this collaboration is expected to encourage the emergence of more digital talent with the innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills needed in the era of digital transformation.

Bridging the Robotics and Esports Sectors

Meanwhile, Wahyu Hidayat assessed this collaboration as a crucial momentum to integrate the development of robotics and esports into a single, mutually supportive ecosystem.

He added that PRSI is committed to strengthening the education sector as a basis for developing technological talent while fostering an innovative, inclusive, and sustainable game-based robotics ecosystem.

Ibnu Riza stated that cross-sector collaboration is key to accelerating the development of digital human resources in Indonesia.

"IESPA believes that cross-sector collaboration is key to accelerating the development of Indonesia's digital talent. Together with PRSI and kemkomdigi, we want to present various programs that reach more regions, schools, communities, and the younger generation," he said.

Through this collaboration, the three parties are committed to presenting collaborative programs focused on increasing human resource capacity, developing technological innovation, and strengthening Indonesia's position as a digital powerhouse in the region.
