Jakarta, INTI - DEFEND ID held its 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on Tuesday, May 26, marking a strategic milestone in advancing the company’s transformation as Indonesia’s state-owned defense industry holding focused on mastering future strategic technologies.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), PT Danantara Asset Management as shareholders, the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders. The event reflected the company’s commitment to good corporate governance, transparency, and accountability.

As Indonesia’s defense industry holding company, DEFEND ID integrates capabilities across land, naval, aerospace, ammunition, and defense electronics sectors to strengthen the nation’s defense industrial independence.

Strong Financial Performance Reflects Business Transformation 

Throughout 2025, the company delivered solid performance, securing total contracts worth Rp113.85 trillion. The figure comprised Rp94.78 trillion in carried-over contracts and Rp19.07 trillion in new contracts. The achievement highlights the continuity of national strategic projects and demonstrates strong confidence from partners in DEFEND ID’s expertise and capabilities.

From a business operations perspective, DEFEND ID generated revenue of Rp20.71 trillion. Consolidated net profit reached Rp913.05 billion, representing a significant increase of 430.1% compared with Rp172.24 billion recorded in 2024. The growth was driven by improved operational efficiency, stronger business performance, and optimized management of strategic projects across the holding’s entities.

The company’s strengthened fundamentals were also reflected in total assets, which grew 18.3% year-on-year to Rp66.05 trillion. Total equity reached Rp15.23 trillion, up 8.2% from 2024, underscoring a stronger financial structure and enhanced business capacity.

Beyond its financial achievements, DEFEND ID maintained a BBB+ corporate health rating, indicating a healthy business condition, strong growth prospects, and a solid foundation for sustainable future expansion.

The holding is supported by a workforce of 11,022 employees, with more than 60% engaged in production and engineering roles. This composition highlights the company’s strong manufacturing capabilities and technological expertise, which serve as key pillars of Indonesia’s defense industry development.

Advancing Strategic Technologies for National Defense 

During the meeting, PT Len Industri (Persero), the parent company of DEFEND ID, reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening national strategic technology capabilities through the development of future-oriented technologies outlined in the company’s “Asta Cita Len Industri” vision. Priority areas include artificial intelligence, semiconductors, command-and-control systems, radar and electronic warfare systems, cybersecurity, satellite technology, electro-optic and sensor technologies, as well as autonomous systems.
