Setyanto hopes that the Nongsa Changi Cable (NCC) infrastructure, which connects Batam and Singapore, will strengthen Indonesia's sovereignty.

NCC is not only a cable network connecting Singapore and Batam, but also digital infrastructure that will encourage innovation and competitiveness in the AI, data center, manufacturing, and service sectors.
To achieve this goal, Danantara encourages state-owned enterprises, such as the Telkom Group, to invest in digital infrastructure sustainably and become a driving force for other economic sectors.

To date, Telkom's service capacity has reached almost all levels of society, covering more than 96% of the Indonesian population. The NCC cable is the corporation's next step in addressing the need for hyperscale data capacity.
