The mobile version of Firefly comes equipped with various powerful tools that were previously exclusive to desktop users. These include text-to-image, text-to-video, image-to-video, as well as Generative Fill and Generative Expand, which are also popular features in Adobe Photoshop.
With these tools, users can:
- Generate images from text prompts
- Turn static images into video clips
- Add AI-generated objects to photos
- Enhance visuals with detailed elements
Firefly also supports third-party AI models such as Google’s Imagen 3 and 4, Veo 2 and Veo 3, and OpenAI’s GPT image models, offering broader creative possibilities.
Seamless Integration with Adobe Creative Cloud
All content created using Firefly is automatically synced with the user’s Adobe Creative Cloud account, allowing projects started on mobile to be continued effortlessly on desktop.
The Firefly app is now available for free download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, including in Indonesia. However, some advanced features require an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.
Debuted at Adobe Max
Adobe first introduced Firefly to the public in February 2025, and showcased it at the Adobe Max event. The highlight was the Generate Video feature, powered by Adobe’s Firefly Video model, which enables users to create videos from text prompts or reference images.
