Jakarta, INTI - Universitas Nusa Cendana has partnered with Celerates (PT Mitra Talenta Grup) to develop industry-ready digital talent by strengthening students’ competencies in technology-related fields.
The collaboration aims to improve students’ readiness to meet the rapidly evolving demands of the digital industry.
Yanto Triwahyuadi Polly, Coordinator of the Computer Science Study Program at Undana, stated, “We will formulate an effective collaboration framework to ensure students gain significant added value and are ready to compete in the workforce.”
Industry involvement in this partnership is considered essential to ensure technology-based education remains aligned with labor market needs.
The initiative also supports the strengthening of the “link and match” concept between higher education institutions and industry.
Undana students will gain access to Celerates’ talent database, expanding their career opportunities.
In addition, students will have the opportunity to participate in certified internship programs integrated with industry requirements.
Job placement opportunities within Celerates’ network of industry partners are also among the key benefits of the collaboration.
CAMP Program and Real Industry Experience
As part of the partnership, the Celerates Acceleration Program CAMP was introduced as an Independent Study scheme for students.
The CAMP program is designed to provide four months of intensive industry experience.
Students will be mentored directly by industry practitioners while working on real projects within the digital ecosystem.
This approach is expected to enhance practical skills while deepening students’ understanding of the dynamics of the technology industry.
Lecturer Development and Educational Support
The collaboration also targets lecturers through a Training of Trainer (ToT) program.
The ToT initiative enables lecturers to stay updated with the latest technological developments.
Maria Agustina Kleden, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Science and Engineering Undana, emphasized, “This collaboration must deliver measurable outcomes, both in improving student competencies and enhancing curriculum relevance.”
Celerates has also committed to providing special subsidies for Undana students participating in the program to help reduce educational costs.
Conclusion
The collaboration between Universitas Nusa Cendana and Celerates reflects a growing commitment to bridging higher education and industry by equipping students with practical digital skills and real-world technology experience.
