Jakarta, INTI – Terra Drone Corporation, a leading drone service provider, through its subsidiary, Terra Drone Indonesia, has successfully conducted an Advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Workshop using drone technology in Kuwait. This event was held in collaboration with International Inspection Centre Co. W.L.L. (INTREX), the largest NDT inspection service provider in Kuwait, and was attended by key players in the Middle Eastern energy industry.

The Advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Workshop aimed to introduce how drone-based inspection technology can enhance operational efficiency and safety in the oil and gas industry. The event also featured live demonstrations of drone applications in industrial inspections, supporting the Kuwait Vision 2035 initiative for economic diversification and the transition to renewable energy.
Recognizing the opportunities in this industrial transformation, Terra Drone Indonesia has established a strategic partnership with the NDT Corrosion Control Services Co. (NDTCCS) branch in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the parent company of INTREX. This collaboration expands the implementation of drone-based inspection technology across the Middle East.
The workshop was attended by approximately 50 participants from 18 leading energy sector companies, including KOC Insp. & Corrosion and Schlumberger, the world’s largest oilfield services company.

Industrial Inspection Transformation through Drone Technology
Confined Space Inspection and 3D Modeling Using Drones
Participants gained in-depth knowledge on the application of ultrasonic drone inspections (Ultrasonic Testing / UT) for both internal and external assessments, as well as optimal industrial survey solutions. Additionally, they witnessed live drone flight demonstrations for NDT inspections.
The success of this workshop marks a significant milestone for Terra Drone Indonesia in expanding its presence in Kuwait and the Middle East. With support from NDTCCS, Terra Drone plans to continue driving digital transformation in the oil and gas industry through drone-based inspection solutions.
This workshop demonstrated how drone technology can revolutionize industrial inspection processes by enhancing efficiency, safety, and accuracy.
