Jakarta, INTI - PT Telkom Akses is strengthening its collaboration with the Banten Provincial Government to support the development and improved management of telecommunications infrastructure across the province.
The commitment was highlighted during a meeting between Telkom Akses’ Board of Commissioners and Directors and Banten Governor Andra Soni at the Banten Governor’s Office in Serang on September 22, 2026.
During the meeting, Telkom Akses Independent Commissioner Ricky HS Tamba, President Director Irphan Wijaya, and Operations Director Ambari discussed the current condition, requirements, and future development of telecommunications infrastructure in Banten with Governor Andra Soni.
The discussion also covered utility network management and potential collaboration between local governments, industry players, and network operators.
The development and maintenance of telecommunications access infrastructure are not only intended to strengthen connectivity but must also consider the organization and safety of public spaces. Coordination among local governments, industry stakeholders, and network operators is therefore considered important to ensure that digital infrastructure development remains aligned with regional needs.
Banten Governor Andra Soni emphasized the importance of integrated cable management as part of efforts to create a Safe, Healthy, Clean, and Beautiful (ASRI) environment. Such efforts require coordination among multiple stakeholders because telecommunications cable infrastructure in Banten is operated by various network providers.
Andra also encouraged stakeholders to coordinate on a roadmap for implementing an Integrated Utility Network System (SJUT) that can be applied consistently across regencies and municipalities. An integrated network management approach has previously been implemented in the Banten Provincial Government Center (KP3B), where various utility networks have been consolidated under a single management system.
Preparing for Stronger Coordination
Telkom Akses President Director Irphan Wijaya said the company is ready to coordinate with provincial, regency, and municipal governments, as well as other network operators, to improve the organization of telecommunications infrastructure.
“We appreciate the direction and support from the Banten Provincial Government. Telkom Akses is ready to coordinate with provincial, regency, and municipal governments, as well as other network operators, to ensure that field activities are carried out in an orderly manner, comply with regional policies, and maintain reliable services for the public,” Irphan said.
He added that network organization is also part of efforts to improve operational efficiency. Well-organized infrastructure can enhance the safety and appearance of public spaces while making it easier for technicians to conduct maintenance and respond to network disruptions.
This approach is expected to make infrastructure management more effective without compromising service reliability. The coordination established through the meeting is also expected to align regional development needs with telecommunications access infrastructure development while creating opportunities for collaboration that can benefit local communities.
Through cooperation with the Banten Provincial Government and TelkomGroup, Telkom Akses remains committed to strengthening reliable and well-organized telecommunications infrastructure to support digital connectivity and sustainable regional development.
