Siemens Global Profit Grows to Double-Digits, Business in Indonesia is Said To Have Contributed Significantly

2 months ago | Industrial Transformation

Jakarta, INTI - The positive performance of Siemens AG, a German technology and industrial company, is said to have been supported by the optimal achievements of its subsidiary in Indonesia.

Siemens AG reported a net profit of 10.4 billion euros, or Rp205 trillion, in the third quarter of 2025. This number is a 15.5% increase compared to the previous year. The market in Indonesia also contributed to this achievement.

The President Director and CEO of Siemens Indonesia, Surya Fitri, stated that for the second consecutive year, the company has recorded double-digit growth in sales and profitability. However, Fitri did not state further details on the numbers.

Surya said that the growth was driven by the company's ability to strengthen its technology portfolio, improve operational efficiency, and expand strategic partnerships with major industrial sectors in Indonesia.

"This achievement was gained amid multiple complex challenges, such as geopolitical uncertainty, geoeconomic pressures, changes in global energy policy, and increasing customer expectations for sustainability," Surya said, as quoted on Sunday, March 1, 2026.

Strategic Initiatives Aligning with Siemens’ Vision

Surya added that in addition to focusing on business performance, Surya is pushing various strategic initiatives aligned with Siemens' global vision as a ONE Tech Company.

The initiative includes developing a more efficient and cleaner electricity system to support national sustainability targets, strengthening digital talent through collaboration with universities in Indonesia, and pushing industrial process modernization through automation, digitalization, and strategic partnerships.

"These efforts further emphasize Siemens Indonesia's role as a trusted technology partner in driving industrial and infrastructure transformation in the country," said Surya.

PT Siemens Indonesia is a technology company focused on transforming various key sectors in Indonesia. Several companies operating in the industrial, infrastructure, and electrification sectors have utilized services from Siemens.

With specialized production facilities for low and medium voltage electrical switchgear—fixed as National Vital Objects for the industrial sector—and more than 500 dedicated employees across Indonesia, Siemens remains strongly committed to contribute in the nation's technological and economic progress.

Conclusion

Business in Indonesia contributed significantly to Siemens’ double-digit profit growth. Through profitability growth, strategic partnerships, technological innovation, and a focus on sustainability and digital transformation, Siemens Indonesia continues to strengthen its position as a key contributor to both the company’s global performance and Indonesia’s industrial and infrastructure development.
