Jakarta, INTI - PLN (Perusahaan Listrik Negara) through its Jakarta Distribution Main Unit (UID) and the Bulungan Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3) has successfully energized an additional power supply upgrade for BDx Indonesia (PT Starone Mitra Telekomunikasi), increasing capacity from 2 x 15,000,000 VA to 2 x 29,900,000 VA. The capacity expansion forms part of PLN’s commitment to supporting the growth of the data center industry and accelerating Indonesia’s national digital transformation.
The power increase was carried out to meet the growing operational demands of BDx Indonesia’s data center facilities amid rising demand for digital services, cloud computing, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. With PLN’s layered electricity supply system, the data center’s operations are expected to become more reliable while ensuring uninterrupted digital services for customers.
Chief Executive Officer of BDx Indonesia, Agus Hartono Wijaya, expressed appreciation for PLN’s support in strengthening the company’s electrical infrastructure.
