Jakarta, INTI - Strategic collaboration continues to shape Indonesia’s oil and gas drilling industry as PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Schlumberger Geophysics Nusantara in Tangerang on Friday, May 22, 2026. The agreement marks a significant step toward strengthening business collaboration and expanding integrated drilling service capabilities.

The partnership reflects the industry’s growing efforts to address global energy challenges through stronger operational synergy. Under the agreement, both companies will enhance cooperation across onshore and offshore drilling services.

The collaboration covers a broad range of strategic services, including rig services, top drive systems, directional drilling, H2S safety monitoring, fishing and coring, manpower supply, catering services, reservoir stimulation and fracturing, plug and abandon operations, digital drilling and modelling, as well as rig equipment inspection.

President Director of Pertamina Drilling, Avep Disasmita, stated that the partnership forms part of the company’s strategy to strengthen service capabilities while accelerating business expansion in the energy sector.
