Jakarta, INTI – As an AI Factory under Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) Group, Lintasarta continues to strengthen the national artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem by introducing Semesta AI. This program is the first initiative in Indonesia supported by NVIDIA Inception, a global program designed to nurture AI startups.
As the only NVIDIA Cloud Partner (NCP) in Indonesia, Lintasarta receives full support from NVIDIA to continuously enhance the national AI ecosystem. Semesta AI, part of the AI Merdeka movement, aims to provide broader access to the development of innovative AI solutions based on local use cases in Indonesia.
This program will be showcased at NVIDIA GTC 2025 in San Jose, California, USA, highlighting Indonesia’s growing role in the global AI innovation landscape. One of the key industry discussions at the event will be, “How Indonesia is Building a Sovereign AI Platform Led by the Telecommunications Sector for 270 Million Users.”

Startups joining this program must demonstrate strong scalability of their AI solutions and real implementation potential across various national industry sectors.
Since the launch of AI Merdeka last November—attended by 419 startups—more than 150 startups and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) have registered for Semesta AI. Out of this number, the top 10 startups and ISVs will advance to the Black Belt phase, the final stage of the program.
President Director & CEO of Lintasarta, Bayu Hanantasena, emphasized that this collaboration is a concrete step in accelerating Indonesia’s digital potential.
“Through Semesta AI, we aim to empower local startups and ISVs to create AI solutions that are not only innovative but also have a tangible impact on industries and the national economy. To support this mission, we will continue to build a strong and sustainable digital ecosystem in Indonesia,” said Bayu.
Startups that successfully complete all phases of Semesta AI will have the opportunity to collaborate with Lintasarta on a larger development scale. With a network of more than 2,300 clients across various strategic sectors—including finance, manufacturing, healthcare, natural resources, and public services—Lintasarta provides startups with direct opportunities to implement their AI solutions in real-world industries.
Additionally, Lintasarta ensures that the Semesta AI initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), by building an inclusive and sustainable digital infrastructure.
