Jakarta, INTI - PT Indosat Tbk has announced the outcomes of its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS), marking a new phase of growth as the company accelerates its AI North Star strategy while continuing to deliver value to shareholders. Despite macroeconomic challenges throughout 2025, Indosat demonstrated resilience through disciplined business execution and a focused strategic direction, laying a strong foundation for long-term value creation.
Vikram Sinha, President Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, emphasized the company’s commitment to ensuring that every advancement generates meaningful impact.
According to Vikram, Indosat remains focused on accelerating the execution of its AI strategy with discipline, driving sustainable growth while delivering tangible value to shareholders, including through dividend distribution. These efforts reflect the company’s #BetterIndosat vision of empowering Indonesia through innovation and digital transformation.
Building Indonesia’s Integrated AI Ecosystem
As part of its AI North Star ambition, Indosat is accelerating its transformation into a key enabler of artificial intelligence development in Indonesia by building a fully integrated AI ecosystem.
The transformation begins with Indosat’s evolution into an AI-native telecommunications company, embedding AI across its core operations to deliver hyper-personalized customer experiences, improve productivity, and optimize capital expenditure efficiency. This approach has strengthened customer engagement and supported sustainable double-digit growth.
The company is also expanding beyond traditional connectivity services to become an AI TechCo, unlocking new growth opportunities in sovereign AI, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. Having established key capabilities, Indosat is now entering an expansion phase aimed at accelerating AI-driven growth across both consumer and enterprise segments.
Strategic Partnership with NVIDIA and Sahabat-AI Initiative
A major driver of this strategy is Indosat’s strategic collaboration with NVIDIA, announced during the NVIDIA GTC 2026 event alongside the launch of Sahabat-AI, a national initiative designed to strengthen Indonesia’s AI ecosystem.
Through this partnership, Indosat leverages NVIDIA’s accelerated computing platform and Nemotron open AI models to bring world-class AI capabilities to Indonesia. The initiative supports the development of locally relevant, high-performance AI solutions while laying the foundation for an open, adaptive, and nationally aligned sovereign AI ecosystem.
Built upon this foundation, Sahabat-AI serves as a collaborative platform that broadens access to artificial intelligence. It empowers individuals, developers, enterprises, and institutions to develop and deploy AI solutions tailored to Indonesia’s language, cultural context, and market needs.
Expanding AI Access Through a Distributed AI Grid
To ensure inclusive access to AI at scale, Indosat is also developing a distributed AI Grid by leveraging its nationwide network coverage and data center infrastructure to distribute AI computing power across Indonesia.
This approach is expected to accelerate AI adoption, stimulate innovation beyond major metropolitan areas, and enable developers, businesses, and communities nationwide to participate more actively in the AI-driven economy.
Through these initiatives, Indosat continues its transformation into an AI Nation Shaper, strengthening Indonesia’s digital capabilities while creating new and sustainable growth engines.
Strengthening Leadership to Drive AI Transformation
The AGMS also approved the appointments of Reski Damayanti, Apoorva Mehrotra, and Honesti Basyir to the Board of Directors, effective immediately following the meeting.
In addition, shareholders approved the appointment of Seppalga Ahmad to the Board of Commissioners. These appointments are expected to further strengthen Indosat’s ability to execute its strategy with greater agility and discipline.
The company also expressed its appreciation to Ahmad Zulfikar and Achmad Syah Reza for their contributions and dedication during their tenure.
Delivering Strong Value to Shareholders
Reflecting its solid financial performance and continued commitment to shareholders, the AGMS approved a total dividend distribution of Rp3.58 trillion, equivalent to Rp111 per share.
The dividend payment is scheduled to be distributed no later than 30 days following the publication of the official meeting resolutions, underscoring Indosat’s commitment to balancing growth investments with attractive shareholder returns.
Conclusion
Indosat is accelerating its transformation into an AI-driven technology company through investments in sovereign AI, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and strategic partnerships. Supported by strong financial performance and a solid dividend payout, the company aims to expand AI adoption nationwide while creating sustainable value for both Indonesia’s digital ecosystem and its shareholders.
