“With AI, many people can develop their games or build prototypes much faster. So, in my view, AI will certainly help the gaming industry as a whole,” Hans said.
He added that the success of AI adoption largely depends on developers’ ability to integrate the technology effectively. Furthermore, the readiness of human resources (HR) is a crucial factor to ensure AI’s full potential can be leveraged to advance the industry.

Hans emphasized the importance of balancing technology and human capability. “It’s also about how we utilize the technology, whether it can truly drive the industry forward, and whether the talent is ready to work with such technology,” he explained.

In line with this perspective, Julio Andryanto, CEO of Dreams Studio, believes that AI plays a significant role in enhancing the player experience while also helping developers create more immersive games.
“AI not only assists in improving player experience, but it also greatly helps developers,” Julio said. He explained that his team uses AI extensively for narrative writing, advanced design, and fixing problematic base code.
According to Julio, AI has become an essential partner in the creative process because it can detect errors faster and provide automatic recommendations for corrections. “Most of our team uses AI for that (code fixing), and it has been extremely helpful for us,” he added.
