Jakarta, INTI - Citi has officially launched its artificial intelligence (AI) solutions in Indonesia, aimed at improving employee efficiency and productivity. The rollout is part of Citi’s broader global deployment of AI tools across 87 countries and jurisdictions, accessible to approximately 180,000 employees worldwide.
The introduction of AI in Indonesia has been positively received by Batara Sianturi, CEO of Citi Indonesia, who emphasized that AI plays a crucial role in the bank’s operational strategy.

Two AI Solutions Introduced for Employees
Citi has introduced two AI-powered tools in Indonesia, Citi Stylus Workspaces and Citi Assist.
Citi Stylus Workspaces uses conversational AI to streamline daily employee tasks. Its features include document processing, pre-built prompt templates, chat history storage, browser page summarization, and question-and-answer functionality.
Meanwhile, Citi Assist serves as a desktop assistant designed to provide quick access to Citi’s internal policies and procedures. The tool helps employees retrieve critical information efficiently, ensuring compliance while reducing operational risk. Its knowledge base is expected to expand over time.
Strengthening Services and Meeting Client Needs
Batara emphasized that the implementation of AI is not only intended to improve internal efficiency but also to enhance service quality for customers and corporate clients.
According to him, AI adoption enables Citi to respond more quickly and accurately to increasingly complex client needs.
“This is not just about adaptability. It opens up new growth opportunities and allows us to address our clients’ most complex challenges with greater speed and precision,” he concluded.
