Jakarta, INTI - The National Executive Board of the Indonesian Association of Construction Contractors and Entrepreneurs (APPEKNAS) has initiated a strategic partnership with Kisel and Telkomsel to develop a dedicated digital platform for construction contractors, marking an important step toward building a more connected digital ecosystem for Indonesia's construction and infrastructure sector.
The proposed platform is designed to help construction businesses improve operational efficiency, streamline project management, and enhance service quality across various infrastructure projects.
APPEKNAS Chairman Fandy Iood welcomed the positive response and support from Telkomsel and Kisel, describing digital transformation as a critical requirement for the future of the construction industry.
According to Fandy, digitalization will strengthen collaboration among project owners, contractors, and construction suppliers by integrating them into a single digital ecosystem.
"This Digital Construction Ecosystem will deliver excellent services for project owners, contractors, and construction suppliers while creating a stronger digital economic triangle for the industry," Fandy said.
The meeting was attended by Ismu Widodo and Raymond Sembiring on behalf of Telkomsel, while Kiky, Ari Ginting, and Farhan Fajri represented Kisel.
Building an Integrated Construction Ecosystem
Fandy expressed optimism that the collaboration would soon be translated into concrete initiatives capable of accelerating the digital transformation of Indonesia's construction sector.
He believes the growing demand for digital solutions will encourage contractors to adopt new technologies and modernize their business operations.
By leveraging digital platforms, construction stakeholders will be able to deliver faster, more transparent, and more professional services throughout every stage of project execution.
According to Fandy, integrating project owners, contractors, and suppliers into a unified digital platform will improve coordination, increase efficiency, and support the long-term development of Indonesia's construction industry.
"A digital ecosystem enables contractors to become more technology-oriented while delivering higher-quality services through digitalization," he concluded.
Conclusion
The collaboration between APPEKNAS, Telkomsel, and Kisel reflects a shared commitment to accelerating digital transformation in Indonesia's construction industry. By developing an integrated digital ecosystem, the partnership aims to improve collaboration, operational efficiency, and service quality while strengthening the industry's competitiveness in the digital era.
