Cybersecurity Training at the Indonesia Internet Expo & Summit (IIXS) 2024

Jakarta, INTI — In an effort to enhance digital security in Indonesia, the Indonesia Internet Expo & Summit (IIXS) 2024 returns with a special focus on cybersecurity training trends. The event, set to take place from August 12-14, 2024, at the Jakarta International Expo, offers a golden opportunity for professionals and industry players to deepen their knowledge of modern and practical cybersecurity.

This training will be divided into three different sessions, each focusing on a different aspect of cybersecurity:

August 12, 2024: Ismail Hakim will lead a session on 'Modern Cybersecurity Approaches'. This session will run from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM and will cover the latest security strategies and how to implement them in business.
August 13, 2024: Wita Laksono will take over with the topic 'Internet Security: Routing and DNS' from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The focus of this session is on a deep understanding of how data moves on the internet and how security can be enhanced through effective routing and DNS management.
August 14, 2024: Wita Laksono returns to discuss 'Internet Security: Website and Online Environment', which will provide insights into how to protect web infrastructure and ensure a safe online environment.

The training will be guided by speakers who have expertise and experience in the field of cybersecurity. Ismail Hakim, Chief Executive Officer at Cyberkatika Security Operation Center Semarang and trainer at IDNIC - APJII, has a strong background in cybersecurity operations. Mohammad Shidiq, who will speak on August 13th, is a CNGT at PANDI and an expert in DNS and DSNOG.

Wita Laksono, with over 16 years of experience in the information technology industry, is a dedicated network and cybersecurity specialist. As a senior network administrator at several national and multinational ISPs, Wita has deep expertise in infrastructure management and internet operations, which will be highly beneficial in his training sessions on website security and the online environment.

This event is supported by APJII, the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association, and the Indonesian Network Information Centre, showing strong commitment from various parties to advance cybersecurity in Indonesia. With a participation fee of IDR 350,000 per day, including coffee and lunch sessions, this training offers incredible value to participants.
